Delivery process for frozen Items
Our delivery process consists of several steps to ensure that your cake and/or desserts arrive at your door just as it was when it left us. The images below will help illustrate our online cake delivery process.
The first step is preparing the shipping box. A Styrofoam seat is set into the box, along with some refrigerated gel packs to keep the product frozen. The boxed product is then set inside the box fitting tight inside of its seat.
Refrigerant gel packs are placed in any crevices between the product and its seat so that it will stay as cool as necessary to stay intact. Gel packs are also placed on top of the product. The lid of the seat is then placed over the product, fitting snugly so that the product will have no room to wiggle during its travel.
Finally, the package is taped and secured and ready to be shipped.
